Start Spreading the News....

I finished The Ninth Child in December of 2014. I sent it to a very kind literary agent who told me it was a waste of her time. It was not anywhere near ready to submit. That was a blessing.

The last three and a half years I have edited and reedited and edited again. I have read blogs, and tweets, and books to learn about writing and publishing. Now I am going to the Writers Digest Conference in New York. I am excited because I know my characters and their stories as if they were my own. They have stretched my consciousness. I hope that I have grown throughout the process. I know that, surprisingly to me, (Damn it Jim, I’m a scientist not an english major) that I love being a part of the literary community.

Wish me well, I can use it. I promise to report back sooner rather than later. :)
