I grew up loving dinosaurs, rocks, and stars.  My parents got me my first telescope when I was eight.  I never missed an episode of Star Trek.  I learned to fly at sixteen and I majored in geophysics at Texas A&M.  I was going to be an astronaut.
      
      Somehow I ended up working in the oil industry with my husband.  We worked together in Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Taiwan.  It was a bit like a James Bond movie.  Yes, I did have a briefcase full of money.  Yes it was glorious.  

     Sometime in the early 2000's I started tinkering with an idea for a story and The Ninth Child was born.  I entered the amazing world of writing.  It is a world that I love, and a world where, with Andrea, I finally get to fly in space.
